Guerrero has better fights than Alexander @147 he fought Aydin who was the #1 ranked for the WBC then fought and Beat the **** out of Berto. Alexander only fought Maidana both coming up from 140 and Bailey which was a Stinker, Guerrero definitely earned the shot more winning the interim WBC belt!

This is a simple case of "yesterday I was lying, today I'm telling the truth", Floyd Mayweather style. I thought IBF belts and unifications didn't matter? Particularly if the guy holding the IBF is not an PPV attraction (wink, wink Cotto back in 2008, Margarito with the WBO).

But you know what, I still like it. He simply wanted to give us a surprise element. This Guerrero Vs Maywather match up was pretty much a foregone conclusion. There was no real demand or interest, at least with this stunt, it gets the message boards talking in a viral fashion, with everybody complaining left and right. This is the perfect time to go on ESPN and find another Brian Kenny type to argue with and try to justify the fight with contradictory statements; It will be awesome.
