why would Mayweather give away the suspense by half-announcing it, though?

that's what makes me think the opponent won't be Devon. my guess is he's using Alexander's name as a ruse to spark some controversy and make for a shock with the real announcement.

From my perspective, Ghost and Alexander are cherry-picks. But damn, at least Ghost has some potential entertainment value. Mayweather/Alexander would be an ugly style match-up. When was the last time Floyd heard boos at his fights?

Nothing to defend. It's not a very good fight right now, it's equal to the Judah fight in 06', decent and nothing more. Guerrero would have been a better fight.
