Pac maybe guilty of being a little insecure of himself and underestimating just how good he was, and that hed beat the Cottos of this world without a CW. 2lbs is of so little consequence Pac would have been better off not requesting it....so is a idiot for it.

But at least Pac fights regularly, when Floyd is insecure or scared he just dont fight, or balloons people up 2 divisions while coming over the limit as extra insurance and confidence booster.

A bit insecure lol , are you that ****** sheese , was he still insecure after he had already beat Cotto , or was that he knew a non drained Cotto would be as strong as a bull , Oscar at 154 wipes the floor with Manny , Margo at 154 in a 18 ft ring would walk him down and pound him , the CWs were the keys to winning those fights and thats why its a CW or NO FIGHT , and not only that , the CWS were the key to looking good , take them away and what do you have , a bag of excuses of why he never stopped anybody , its right in front of your delusional faces why he was looking ordinary , non weakened opponents !

Only thing wrong with the CWs is that pac really didnt need them, and whether they actually benefitted him is debateable. So you can call Pac an idiot that would be fair.
Bull $$hiit rember dummy PAC lost the champion of the decade belt against jmm so now jmm is fighter of the decade

Why is the the real question not being asked? Why did Pacquiao avoid 135 and 140? Why is that ignored? Why do these ****** fans continue this bull****.

And to the person that asked. Yes Henry Armstrong was probably on something. It's infantile to think the top fighters weren't juicing back then. The test's were easier to beat and easier to cover up if you failed. It would break peoples heart how many of there heroes are cheats

Didn't many agree it was a risk, because Chavez bloated up to Cruiserweight? It's argued that Chavez Jr. doesn't even belong at Middleweight and should move up 8lbs to the Super Middleweight division.

In that case, shouldn't we give Pacquiao credit for defeating Welterweights, with a difference of 2 lbs (Cotto) and 4lbs (Margarito)? Especially when Margarito, Clottey, and De La Hoya ended up bloating to Middleweight on fight night?

I don't see anybody trying to defend Chavez Jr or discrediting Martinez's performance.

martinez vs chavez jr wasnt at a catchweight. you can come to the ring weighing whatever you want. but its a unfair advantage to make a fighter weigh in under the limit of the division. if martinez made chavez weigh in at 157 then he would get criticized too

Yea he is, on paper. But everybody knows who the real FOTD is....
Mannys run was all a political farce, and in the end it all came to "light's out"

136-140 is the light welterweight division
                    141-147 is the welterweight division
148-154 is the jr middleweight division

If fighters agree to any weight within the weights i just described, why is this a problem again?
