    Your top 10 140lb rankings

Allright, this is obviously the most well-stacked and exciting weight class in boxing right now.... Every organization and magazine has their own rankings for various reasons but what do you guys think? Here's my top 10 and why

    1 Kostya Tszyu

    2 Floyd Mayweather

    3 Vivian Harris

    4 Sharmba Mitchell

    5 Miguel Cotto

    6 Ricky Hatton

    7 Arturo Gatti

    8 DeMarcus Corley

    9 Artur Grigorian

    10 Leonard Dorin

Tszyu and Mayweather are both good enough to be #1, but Tszyu has been more consistent in his performances against top competition than Floyd.
Vivian Harris is experienced and to me at least has proven himself enough to be 3 right now.
Sharmba looked like **** in his last fight, but Tszyu has a way of doing that to fighters. Looking at the division, I still think he's up there.
Cotto is great, and may be one of the best pfp one day, and maybe he's better than Mitchell and Harris, but he hasn't fought enough top opponents to gauge yet.
Hatton at #6.. we'll see how he does against Kostya...
Gatti is my favorite fighter. He's improved alot, he should be top 3, but considering this division's talent, realisticly, 7 is as good as it gets for him skill-wise.
Corley hasn't fallen off yet and is a well accomplished fighter. Anyone doubting him will be surprised when he fights cotto. I think he'll give cotto a tough match.
Grigorian is experienced, but needs to fight someone good to really put his name in there.
Leonard Dorin had a tough loss to Gatti, and may be too small for 140, but if he decides to stay here, I still see him doing well, and I think he's a better fighter than Jesse James at this point.

    1. K. Tszyu
    2. Floyd Mayweather jr.
    3. M. Cotto
    4. A. Gatti
    5. R. Hatton
    6. V. Harris
    7. S. Mitchell
    8. Lovemore N`Dou
    9. (toss-up) Either L. Dorin or A. Grigorian
    10. (toss-up)Either Oktay Urkal or James Leija

I gotta go with how I think the division would pan out if they were to have a tourney at this point in all of the fighters careers so tat's what I'm going on. Cotto is the future, Kostya's the now, Hatton and Harris are the enigmas, and Floyd is the one with the most talent but imo to small and fragile for this weight, while Gatti is the Battle tested Warrior with a heart as big as his medical records, whatever happens I just hope Gatti walks away before it's too late for his brain if it isn't already.

      Heres my list:
      1. Kostya Tszyu- The undisputed champion.
      2. Floyed Mayweather- Any undefeated 2 division champ deserves the number 2 spot.
      3. Miguel Cotto- Cotto isnt a top prospect anymore hes a top contender now.
      4. Arturo Gatti- Fake Champion, still tough has hell, definatly deserves to be in the top five.
      5. Ricky Hatton- Pretty good fighter, but Tszyu is gonna KO his ass.
      6. Vivian Harris
      7. Sharmbe Mitchel- He slid down pretty far on my list after the fight with Tszyu, plus the fight against Lovemore Ndou that he barely won.
      8. James Leija
      9. Junior Witter
      10. Lovemore Ndou

Good ranking, considering you usually don't know your ******* from your elbow.

1 Tyszu - The best and probably the only guy who could beat Mayweather.
2 Mayweather - most pure talent, possibly doesn't have the power at 140?
3 Cotto - Looks great, like to see him tested.
4 Hatton - Could have gone P3 toss up with Cotto - can't wait for Zoo fight.
5 Harris - Has ability imo would loose to all of the above though.
6 Mitchell - Past his best even prior to the Zoo fight.
7 Gatti - Like to see him in with Mitchell.
8 Corley - Has not impressed recently - like to see him in with Gatti
9 Leija - Past his best but still has talent.
10 Urkal/Hurtado/N'dou - any of a further three or four.

I have some strong opinions on this division, concerning misconceptions (imo)of course.

          - Zoo is not unbeatable despite what people seem to think.
          - Gatti is not in the top 5 in this division - and outside the top 5 there is a real gulf.
          - Gatti should not attempt to fight Zoo or Mayweather.
          - Hatton is a lot better than he is given credit for, particularly by our American friends.
          - Cotto is a great fighter but he is perhaps not what he is being cracked up to be.
          - Mitchell has managed to con most of the division for a long time now, he has always been overated as his record shows, not much substance and some really poor losses. Everytime he has stepted up he has been knocked back down.
          - Junior Witter does not belong inside the top 10 of this division, all he has done for the last 2 years is beat up tomato cans, I don't just mean averagely good fighters, I mean real bums.
