Garcia's "No Look Hook" was impressive...but what else does he have?

remember when jordan was at the free throw line talking crap to other players telling him how he was gonna close his eyes and hit a no look shot. that how danny garcia is doing these fools. doesnt even have to look and bam down goes matthyse

garcia has a very well rounded game. i'd say his most glaring weakness, or what separates him from some top young contenders, is speed. he's not blindingly fast.

speed is often the most outstanding aspect of a young and talented fighter. garcia doesn't have that blinding speed. he makes up for it with a good chin and timing to back up his well rounded boxing skills.

the power looks legit. he hurts guys with shots that look effortless. he's got big hands and a big upper body. two huge left hooks to either change (khan,) or end (morales,) a fight in a row is evidence of the power. neither opponent is what i'd call a durable 140 lber at that state in his career, but those were still big punches. lucky punch my ass.

not a big fan of him as of yet, don't know what the future will hold. but I guarantee you, that if he does manage to beat matthyse whenever they fight, the keyboard jockey's on here will still hate.
