Man, I hate all these so called boxing historians. They like to name boxers where theres not much footage of. This way were forced to listen to these old farts crap and take it as the truth.

So were supposed to believe this James J Jeffries that he is talking about hits harder than Foreman and Tyson?

Anybody else remember that one history section user who bashed Ali years ago? I forget his name but he was an elderly gentlemen (and I use that term loosely) with a Danny Lopez avi who was constantly creating threads in the history section downgrading Ali using similar arguments.

"The ropes were too loose" against Foreman.

"Dundee cut his gloves" against Cooper.

"He lost all 3 fights" against Norton.

"He lost to Frazier, who was a bum himself" against Frazier.

That guy literally had an excuse for every single fight in Muhammad Ali's career.

This could be video of him.

Jeffries was a fine athlete, but scoundrels like the one in the video will always over-eulogize those late nineteenth and early twentieth century champs. not despite the fact that they ruled in the most prejudiced of eras, but because of it.

Even Bert Sugar is rolling in his grave after this. I burst out laughing after hearing "Jim J Jeffries" and shut the video.

Seriously, I wouldn't put it past him to have made an account here when trolling in the history section was at an all time high.

                  Wait a minute.....

He seemed like a decent boxing historian the first time Elie interviewed him, but this time he has lost all credibility in my book. He is showing his opinion is based on his personal feelings of Ali. I mean he said it with absolute hate for the guy. That is the worst thing a historian can do, let his biased feelings dictate his analysis of a fighter. Yes, he is an absolute joke.
