In its present form it won't be around! I will need to be more brutal because society is fractured into to many segments and the Arums of the world who make it happen won't be here! Its currently in a circus stage from the announcers being "barkers" to the fighters dressing like clowns! There are no meaningfull fighters that are looking to damage and the Sugar Rays to Ali to Tysons will become fewer and fewer because the great athletes will be raised to compete in non-violent sports! There WILL be sub-cultures that will feature "fights"! It will be marketed on a "black market" pay per view and I believe it will feature the orginal "tow the line" combat! No gloves, front kicks from the waist up, non to the head!! Man gets dropped he can own a minute rest then tow the line again! No time limit no rounds counted!! This is a form of boxing that was done during WW 1 and WW 2 and especially during the depression! There was a movie made years ago documentoring this form of engagement starring Charles Bronson & James Colburn & Struthers Martin! It was titled "Hard Times" and depicted how this type of fighting was run.
