Golovkin has good boxing skills to fall back on, Kirkland doesn't, if he can't land his bombs that's it, ishida new Kirkland would come out guns blazing and new he could catch him, ggg is an accomplished amateur and far too smart for that. Fighters like golovkin and Matthysse get compared to Kirkland, angulo, maidana etc, but they are very skilled boxers, both catch a lot of shots with there gloves, it just so happens either can end a fight with one shot with either hand
