First of all Marquez gave Manny the first 2 shots then Manny gave Marquez the next 2. Manny leads 2-1-1 although we all know that's BS. So why give Manny a chance to one up Marquez when he's already up 2-1-1. Get over it!!!! Marquez scored the ultimate get back, he should retire or try to fight Floyd again. it certainly was controversial. the vast majority of press-row (including the Filipino press, IIRC) had it for Marquez.

Not sure what youre remembering, unless youre confusing the second fight with the third fight. Press row was pretty much split on who won. Pacquiao knocking marquez down and winning by said point is not controversial. Pacquiao winning by a point is a legitimate decision.

Controversial was the third fight, in which you are correct that the majority of press row had Marquez winning.

Basically, Marquez got his lucky win against Pacquaio now he's running. Give the man a chance at redemption. Pacquaio didn't have to give Marquez rematch after rematch yet he did.
