    In a fight that has flown under the radar, super middleweight contender Andre Dirrell (20-1, 14 KO’s) will put a 13-month streak of inactivity to rest when he faces off with Ghana’s Michael Gbenga (14-6, 14 KO’s) inside of the Convention Center in McAllen, Texas later this evening.

    And while it’s a positive sign to see such a fine talent as Dirrell getting busy again, there were some developments within his recent training camp in Las Vegas that are worth noting.

    Outspoken trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. is no longer training Dirrell, as he will instead stay put in Vegas as his charge, undefeated lightweight hopeful Mickey Bey Jr., faces off with Robert Rodriguez inside of the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino tonight.

                      That's too bad. I was hoping to see something good come out of this partnership.

                      Floyd Sr knows his stuff as a trainer but he really should try to show up on time.

                          I agree that Dirrell gets a lot of media coverage for a guy who barely fights.
                          Call me crazy if u want but Dirrell has enough skills to give SOG a run for his money.

                                  Floyd Snr at the very least should be a professional by turning up to his job on time.

                                      Has anyone noticed how all this crap is kinding falling apart in SMS promotions....gamboa allegedly taking PED's, dirrell not having Sr in his corner anymore and having numerous fight dates canceled or changed, not to mention 50 and Pacquiao were supposed to be working together and then Pacquiao gets ko'd
