I disagree his career stalled with Toprank for a guy with his talents and a fan friendly style its almost criminal what Arum did to his career keeping all the big fights around his weight class from happening

even asked to move two weight class and fight a guy who couldnt even make 135 to get a big fight

If it turns out the allegations are true bad press, if not still bad press because people in boxing don't give a **** even if its all made up its guilty until proven innocent but no matter what it's still press.
Shows how horrible this sport is at the top, Lamont Pederson actually insert something in his body and nothing happened really in terms of sanctions.

Nah, his career stalled when he blatantly ducked Rios, tried to sue his promoter, and took PEDs.

before the Rios fight where was his career at? mind you Gamboa was fighting at a hot 126 division with undefeated Juanama and Donaire at 122 but the only big fight he could get is move up 2 weight class and against Rios who failed to make 135 limit in his previous fight

even asked to sign a contract extension for it too

Donaire wasn't even at 122 then, he'd barely gone up to 118. They were protecting Juanma and that's it.

But regarding the Rios situation, the first time I heard about it was from Team Gamboa calling out Rios. Gamboa was given huge props. Were they somehow pushed into it? Gamboa's wanted the big name guys, someone like Rios would a first step.

That was Gamboa's idea because he wanted to fight Manny Pacquiao as soon as possible, hence the huge move up in weight.
