it really amazes me how much mike tyson has changed...

i don't know how to feel about it.

i'm a big tyson fan, and i get mixed feelings seeing him these days. i think it's great and i'm really happy of how he's changed his life these last couple of years. at the same time... when i think back of the old tyson, from kid dynamite to the baddest man on the planet era, i start to feel sad. here's this guy who just had this aura around him. this man was the youngest heavyweight champion and for a time the highest paid athlete. now he's doing movie cameos, doing paid greet and meets, etc...

i have nothing but respect for him though. glad to see him so happy these days.

    what do you guys think?

Boxing is a sport as well as entertainment outside of a sports aspect, or atleast the best have known that.

You have to understand the life and mental state that Tyson had growing up. Parents tossed him away, he was dirt poor and had to rob people to survive. Not one person on this site can claim to know that ind of life for starters.

In the streets, you beat others or you get beaten and taken advantage of. I can respect the life of Tyson more now than when he was younger but I appreciate his capabilities and accomplishments in the ring. A prime Tyson could have beaten virtually everyone but it wasn't meant to be.

I'm glad he isn't getting arrested every other week too...the guy deserves to live a normal life and enjoy his journey to a better place.

He finally realised that people don't like being around a crazy bastard and he could drop the hard man act and be himself instead.

He had to change, he behaved as a de****able human being that was going to end up dead or in jail.

I really thought he was going to die for awhile when he was at the bottom, either by drugs or his own doing. Pretty amazing he turned things around.

He has to do what makes him happiest. As a boxing fan I'm not too concerned about what these guys do outside of boxing, but they should do what they can to be happy.
