if you dont think hes good you simply dont know boxing, kid. you cant recognize talent when you see it. the thing about 140 shows you really dont understand the sport at all.

so what if hes not successful at 140? hes already a two weight world champion. say he beats ricky burns, that leaves nothing to prove for him as for being the real deal. not that theres anything to prove after demarco but still.

for a 130lber to move up two classes and fail against bigger men in a damn good division doesnt make him a bad fighter. being able to move up another weight and beat guys like matthysse would make broner almost a great fighter, p4p material for sure.

if he fails he isnt, but is everyone outside the p4p list no good? hell no. just because you arent incredible doesnt make you garbage, broner already proved hes a good fighter, deal with it. now it just remains to see how good.

Yeah, again I thought the fight was pretty easy to score, had PDL winning by a point but one can very easily see that Broner is a much better fighter now, almost night and day. He knows how to fight in the pocket now, defends better, far more accurate with the jab...jus' far more polished now.

Your right, he is improving. Still hasn't done anything to warrant the hype around him right now though, we'll see if he fights someone legit after the midget he's fighting next.

Demarco was his first legit opponent size wise but Demarco ain't no beast in any category, he's just "ok". PDL was much smaller than Broner and still caused him a lot of problems.

But how long are we going to talk about that fight? That may not have been very long ago, but it will always be early in his career. He has improved since then, its obvious too. He has to have improved, why don't people understand that. Right now he is not that same fighter. PDL is a pretty good fighter, its not like he got schooled by a nobody. If anything, it was his managements fault for matching Broner with him too soon, rather than Broner failing.
