Mayweather was accused of PED use in the same matter by a crediable source, but he refused to address it and let it die out now he like that claims and accusations never happened or existed. If Gamboa was smart he will take the same route.

I agree 100%. This is true for practically everything, whether you're a politician, athlete, whatever. Unless you got caught cheating on your wife, people forget. I've seen this happen over and over in life.

Very possible. There's much incentive for the powers that be in boxing to destroy their own investments. That goes for the networks too.

So how does this situation ever improve? It has to come from external pressure. The only realistic chance to ever seriously tackle the issue of PEDs in pro sport is to elevate doping to a legal status akin to fraud. That would be a move that reflects the degrees of seriousness with which the matter should be treated.
