Great fight! I dont know if Leo can chase down Moreno like Mares did but if he can he should stop or outwork him

Idk I just gotta go with Moreno on this one.

      And stopped none of them

Leo stops his fighters by accumulated punches, not really punching power

I hope GBP puts this fight on the undercard to the May 4th event. I got Cruz beating Moreno in this one.

mares does'nt adapt , if anything he sticks to his gameplan and it works..
it's moreno who usually adapts to his opponet but with that kind of power , i dont think (anymore) he can beat a very good pressure fighter with high volume of punches ..but like somebody else said , he already has the mares experience , maybe he'd come up with a diffrent gameplan that he could'nt do againts mares...

Guevara did trouble Leo with his movement, but a lot that could have to do with the fact that Santa Cruz had fought Zaleta just a month before the fight. Its hard to say but If Santa Cruz had a full 8 week camp for Guevara he probably would have done better, but thats just IMO.

Not take anything away from Guevara, he is a talented young fighter that has a bright future in front of him. He was a very game fighter. Most people are still fighting scrubs in their 16th fight and he faced on of the best bantamweights in the world.

Moreno does not have the power or activity to keep Santa Cruz off of him. Santa Cruz will be rewarded for his activity by the judges and there is little chance Moreno knocks Santa Cruz out.

I would also pick Moreno. Santa Cruz isn't as seasoned as Abner Mares is, and Abner had difficulty at times with Chemito even though he won.

this is an incredible fight and the closest thing we'll ever get to cotto-margarito (except both guys aren't known for their power)...gutsy move by gbp

I think moreno wins a close decision...people talk about him not having enough power but are ignoring how defensively sound he is, not to mention he's still one of the best counterpunchers in the sport

santa cruz is going to pressure him non stop and I can see him bothering moreno in the fight but this is such a step up for him at this stage that I can't imagine him winning it even though he's one of my favorite active fighters
