I wasn't aware that the WBO title Marquez held was vacant. Since when? Does that mean this is a title fight! I hope it is cuz they both deserve a title shot, especially Rios! Rios is gonna be a two division champ on March 30th, War Rios!

I'm cool with this. There were some that thought the stoppage was early. Alvarado even said he could've continued (of course he would), so I'd like to see a really conclusive end. Besides, who doesn't like rock 'em sock 'em robots?

Great fight 1st time round but too soon for a return. The time isnt right. If Alvarado won they would need a decider and after 3 wars both guys would be done. Spread it out over their careers like Barrera - Morales rather than have them in close sucession and finish them off like Gatti - Ward.

I thought Alvarado would win the fight and thought he was winning but as someone said earlier in the thread he was fighting to keep Rios off him so maybe the ending was inevitible. Id expect Rios to win this time and hope they are both paid well.

Alvarado was punishing Rios for most of the fight so a rematch is fair imo. Only problem is he hit Rios with everything he had and he couldn't hurt him so i'm not sure how he's going to win because you know Rios will drag him into a brawl. I can't see Alvarado being able to box for 12 rounds.

Arum is on his last leg. Every big fight this year except the maybe fight (Donaire/Rigo) is a rematch. All of these rematches are for no reason at that. TR is going down badly.

Haters gonna hate...and you don't have a clue of what you're talking about. Every REAL boxing fan should be excited about this fight.

Wrong. Alvarado's mistake was standing there and fighting toe to toe with a guy like Rios. He was supposed to box him, not get into a brawl. I'm glad we got an exciting fight, but it was a wrong gameplan from Alvarado. Look for Rios vs April, and you'll see what i'm talking about.
