Former WBC featherweight champion Jhonny Gonzalez (52-8, 45KOs) will make his return on February 23rd in Mexico. The venue has not been finalized. He will take a stay-busy fight against Eusebio Osejo (21-12-2, 12KOs) in a twelve round contest. Gonzalez returns for the first time since the eight round technical decision loss to Daniel Ponce De Leon last September. Gonzalez has a rematch clause with Ponce De Leon and plans to face him again in the summer.

glad 2 c Jhonny in actin again, I like him...he's still got a lot left & usually is always in it w/his punch, but the end is not the far 4 him...getting 2 PDL won't b this year, IMO, he has so many after him...wonder what mini belt Jhonny's fighting 4 as it's 12 rounds???
