Buying a commercial would be GENIUS marketing. The most watced event in America, with a commercial it would make whoever Floyd faces off with a super duper fight.

Casuals don't. We know cause we stay on top of boxing news 24/7.

When you got a lesser known opponent you got to advertise more and this is a good way to do it.

"Robert Guerrero, 6 time world champion in 4 weight divisions, #10 ranked pound for pound fighter in the world, Fighter of the year candidate, bull****, bull****, bull****, bull****", there you go...people will gain interest.

Another fighter's black silhouette forms in the distance. The monologue continues.

"One man stands in his way. One man who will stop at nothing to rewrite history."

As the camera draws closer, a faint light falls on the silhouette and reveals the fighter to be... Manny Pacquiao!

"The fight of the decade is finally upon us. The only question is, are you ready?"

The commercial closes with a face off and the obligatory Title and fight date. Fade to black.
That would suck, i'd be highly disappointed if it's Pacquiao. I'm glad the chances for that are zero.

Yeah but that's a bad thing too. Casuals will be expecting to hear a name that they've actually heard of, like Pacquiao, Marquez, Martinez, Canelo etc. Not Robert Guerrero, they'll be like, "Robert who?" And for them it will be a huge disappointment.

Er considering how EVERYONE talks about the commercials during the half time, especially TV spots for upcoming blockbuster movies... they will give at least half a lump.

Canelo and Sergio aren't really household names either; only really Manny could cpture public intrigue
