I dont know why anyone really thought this was a possibility Bob wont risk a cash cow and Nonito is his new Pacquiao.

But this is NSB, there will be 100 posts of people accusing Donaire of ducking without knowing the facts or hearing both sides of the story.

Not until he sees a copy of the contract, in black and white, Nonito Donaire Jr. will consider Golden Boy’s $3 million offer for him to fight Abner Mares as pure talk.

      I'm confused.
So he turned down something he apparently didn't receive

Do you really think Bob Arum would let Donaire fight Mares? You can argue that Donaire should be more vocal about fighting Mares to put pressure on Bob Arum and I'd tell you that he has to plot his next moves very carefully when dealing with that man. Not long ago he tried moving to GBP and that move blew up in his face.

You are behind. Donaire was talking all that ***** but it was later reported that GBP sent the contract over to TR. There's an article on it.

Don't get your hopes up. Team Rigo thought they would have the contract by now and Monday is already over.

A lot of these places report old news.

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer has advised BoxingScene.com that a contract offering $3 million dollars for the services of Nonito Donaire (31-1, 20K

              You even posted in it.

The question is who to believe?

But really, if they had any intention on making this fight it would be signed and sealed by now. They wouldn't be trying to flex their muscles and negotiate through the media.

Mares' mandatory is the Top Rank fighter Victor Terazaas through. That should be going to purse bid any day now. It could get interesting if Top Rank wins that bid.

I think if the contract hadn't really been sent we would've heard from Donaire on twitter or Arum by now. To my understanding Donaire was being very vocal about this contract then once news broke out he never said anything else about it.
