But against Thompson he showed finally showed some guts and bravery again and won many friends those nights. Eubank was a conman before that,a good one at that,he played the villain briliantly. Eubank ran away with a pot full of cash to the bank, laughing at those fans who supposedly hated(eg secretly loved) his guts because THEY were the ones who made him rich through paying huge ticket prices in the hope of seeing him knocked off his perch, very very smart guy he was and lived his dreams for 15 years.
    well hes broke now

but yeah, the guy you love to hate sums him up,
his workrate was shambolic, but he did try hard against calzaghe and thompson

Benn 1,Watson 2,Calzaghe,Thompson 1,Thompson 2. Thats only 5 out of 52 fights he actually showed some courage in there, but the Thompson fights definately made up for it,as Larry Merchant said during the fight "Its as if Chris has only just realised what talent he possesses and is trying to make the most of it,but it may be too late",even Prince Hamed hugged Eubank backstage just before he came out for his fight with Vasquez(Eubank and Hamed hadnt spoke to eachother for years and had been at eachothers throats).

he didnt do nowhere near enough to stand any chance of beating collins in I or II.
benn had power but technically he didnt have the skills to not get outboxed by chris

These are only rumours but from decent sources, Eubank went to Frank Warrens 25th anniverary (promoting boxing) party & talked to him about it (this is strange that Eubank went becos they arent exactly that close, so these rumours may well be true). Oboh was Eubanks sparring partner for Eubanks last fight & fought on that undercard too. Other rumours are that Warren is offering Carl Froch fights on ITV undercards & then see if he can make fights involving Calzaghe, Eubank & Froch against each other. But like i said, these are only rumours, & i heard Froch has already turned down these offers becos he would only want to fight on ITV as a main event. so, we'll see wot happens man,.

Even though he hardly did anything against Collins, he was robbed at Millstreet.

Benn did have the skills to not get out-boxed by Chris, that's why he was winning the first fight and got robbed in the second fight.
