How are they supposed to build a fan base if there not showcased against people who do? Casuals put stock in to abc titles, so throw Matthysse in with Garcia and once he's a unified and ring champ the casuals will believe it when we say he's the top dog, untill then they'll say hes only interim champ, Martinez was going well to gaining respect from Chavez fans untill he was dropped heavy, now it's he was nearly stopped, Chavez will stop him this time

So? Lucas has earn his shot at the WBC belt and is the mandatory. Fight him or give him your belt, the man is earning his shot by fighting not just living through hype provided by Boxingscene posters. So he needs to be recognise for his efforts in the ring by getting his shot.
