I believe that the weight is killing Corrales inside the ring, that if he didn't have to cut to 135 that it could help him a lot as well..

I believe his stamina, speed, power and chin will all be better if he moves up, he shouldn't have to kill himself to make that weight.

I'll take Hatton by KO in a war. Both can hurt the other but I think Hatton will hurt Corrales more.

corrales is 5'11". ricky is 5'6". needless to say, ricky is significantly smaller than corrales. its the old "infighter vs the tall boxer".

          i say hatton by TKO.

Ricky Hatton should win, coralles might be able to get in a lucky shot and get a chance but overall Ricky Hatton seems a better fighter or rather a figther who is more likely to win if these two meet.

True, if they fight at Lightwelter he won't have to sacrifice himself as much and might be a little stronger.
I would still favor Hatton tho, Chico has taken a lot of punishment lately.

Right now I'd say Hatton. If I can see Corrales against one or two other guys at 140 first, my opinion might sway. Rumor has it Corrales is really having a hard time making 135. If he moves up and brings his punch with him, I could see him clearing out at least half of the top 10 at 140.

I would pick Hatton to win by KO/TKO. Corrales is the better boxer and a move up in weight would probably serve him well, but I don't think that he could handle Hatton's pressure or power while Hatton should be able to shake off Corrales' best (based on how he walked through a few rights from Tszyu).

Chico by KO.Iffffff he is not ruined by the three Castillo fights. Chico before the Castillo fights KO's Hatton. Now I dont know because Chico could be ruined. The big punches hurt Chico not the volume. Thats why I would have picked Chico. He would take Hattons blows and land harder and more often then he did in the Castillo fight.

i think a lot would come down to how this fight is refereed..........whether you like it or not, Ricky does fight very rough, and a "fair but firm" referee would limit Ricky's capabilities....
