Wlad didn't hold in that fight anymore than Lennox used to do in some of his fights. I think Brewster would mean much more because we all know that Wlad is the better boxer and Byrd has no power so it wouldn't prove anything to beat him again. He had Brewster on the canvasin round 4 of their first fight so it would mena so much more to see if he could finish the job this time
That Rocky six comment, is he still going to fight? He wouldn't fight in that last one, how can he fight in this one,(except for that street fight) maybe his kid is going to take over.....
The denials of Wlad's Ruiz-like performance against Peter are hilarious. While he didn't grab 17+ times per round, I often thought I had accidentally tuned into UFC.
Wlad showed a lot of heart in that fight, definitely enough for me to be willing to set aside my opinions of him, but he clinched far more than any top notch heavyweight I have ever seen. Ruiz isn't a top notch heavyweight in my eyes.
Does this mean you are admiting to Wlad being a "top notch" heavy?

while i agree with what you say here, theres something i would like to point out:
wlads got a very long reach. very very few long-armed fighters can affectivly fight on the inside. when peter was at a distance, wlad would jab and cross. when peter got in close (an area where wlad is naturally vunerable), wlad still had a plan to lock him up.
wlads hugging was tactical. ruiz's hugging is just lame and ******. wlad clinched a lot cuz he couldnt do anything else with peter at that close of range.
