Comments Thread For: Arthur Abraham-Robert Stieglitz Rematch on March 23?

The always well informed tabloid Bild wrote yesterday that WBO super middleweight champ Arthur Abraham, 36-3, will defend the title against the man he won the title from, Robert Stieglitz, 42-3, March 23 in Magdeburg and quotes Abraham himself as source.

Arthur Abraham v. Andre Ward 2 needs to happen.

Abraham needs to avenge his loss to Ward for Armenia.

With respect, I don't think AA would go anywhere near Ward again. He wouldn't stand a chance. Let's be realistic, Ward is on a whole different level to AA, who made Carl Froch look like Muhammed Ali.

Pointless. Ward will beat AA 10 times out of 10.

if Froch beats Kessler, wanna see Froch-Abe 2
disappojnted in Abe for that fight, he barely even let go
expected a war in that one, but Froch just rolled him
not like the Ward fights, these guys can't be Ward
but Abe rematching Froch or facing Kessler makes sense
wouldn't favor him, but not like Abe couldn't win at all

Who else is he gonna fight? Froch/ Kessler/ Bute/Bika are all booked up for the first quarter of 2013; Ward's injured; Pavlik retired; Dirrell doesn't fight...

              Who am I missing?

The b level fighter asked a rematch clause in his contract of the first fight. I shake my head to your nonsense.

It is just a matter of water seeking its own level.

And then after the rematch, Groves could fight the winner.
