Luis was terrible. Had no head movement and even loss pop. Happy for Hernandez for the big upset and career booster. Gotta love the underdog.

Dzinziruk is done. He is too small for middleweight, and as crafty as he is, his last two fights he has not come in in great shape whatsoever. At 36, it looks like his boxing career is at a close.

Props to Vera. That guy loves to upset the odds. I bet on Dzinziruk to be too crafty, and he was definitely that, showing an extraordinary chin, but Vera was too big and too strong. Great fight.

Great seeing fraud Dzinziruk removed. The guy has never beaten anything in his entire career and failed miserably in the US. When you cant even beat a slow, shopworn clubfighter, you are not that good.

Luis reminde me of Lemieux/inflated record v poor opposition & 2st time he fights some1 that stands up 2 him ( as Lemieux vs Rubio), out he goes...a tuff guy that gets hit 2 much/2 squared up & w/this style won't b around long...

Why is it still called an upset when Brian Vera beats some one?

Once? Okay, call that an upset. Twice? maybe he's okay afterall, but still just got lucky with another upset. A third upset? the guy is an underrated journeyman who should stop being taken lightly.

Andy Lee, Sergio Mora 2x, and now Sergiy Dzinzuruk.

The 1st kd was a slip. I also thing that Dizzy did knock Vera down & it was incorrectly ruled. I wonder what would have happened if it was ruled a kd. This is the 2nd fight I can think of that maybe the outcome would have been different had a kd been called.

Vera is a tuff opponent early in the fight because he moving in with good enough head movement and plenty of punching from all angles, tuff guy!
Luis stoppage was slighly premature, he deserved another few seconds to see if he could answer back! His father pulled the plug to quickly but that happens alot with father/son combinations! Hernandez fought gamely and weathered the storms very well, tuff kid! The boys fought hard! Ray
