they were 2 to 3 time greater than pacs. so who really got the greatest benefit or boost from who? pac got the bigger boost from floyd easily.

Well there is Boxingscene and the real world, in Boxingscene everyone is ducking anyone that calls for a fight after one fight on HBO and then there is the real boxing world where things are about money and timing .

What's the parallel here? Raheem didn't even fight at the same weight as Pac, Pac didn't move up to LW till 2 years later. Was he supposed to skip avenging his defeat to ATG Morales in a FOTY type fight to move up to fight this nobody with the least tv friendly style in boxing? As you pointed out the guy lost his very next fight, in an unwatchable performance.

Do you know what around the same means???

Floyd did 365K with Gatti, 350K with Judah, and 320K with Baldomir.

He and Oscar did 2.45M in 07'. Since then, Floyd has done 920K with Hatton, 1.05M with Marquez, 1.4M with Mosley, 1.25M with Ortiz, and 1.5M with Cotto.

Oscar did 330K with Ruelas, 220K with Genaro, 345K with Gonzalez, 240K with Rivera, 400K with Castillejo, 350K with Campas, 380K with Sturm, and 935K with Mayorga.

Now the big or at the time big names....720K with Whitaker, 560K with Camacho, 525K with Chavez Sr, 570K with Quartey, 1.4M with Trinidad, 590K with Mosley I, 935K with Vargas, 950K with Mosley II, 1.0M with Hopkins, 2.45M with Floyd, and 1.25M with Pacquiao.

So in general, Oscar did similar numbers with the lesser known guys just like Floyd did. Difference is that Floyd transcended into a superstar much quicker once he got his first headline PPV than Oscar did, because Oscar was headlining PPV's most of his career, where as Floyd took about 7 years after he won his title to get to that level.

Floyd has been in more 1.0M+ PPV's than Oscar, 5 for Floyd and 4 for Oscar. The most most PPV's Floyd has sold aside from his Oscar fight was 1.5M with Cotto, more than the 1.4M Oscar did with Trinidad. There's a very real case to be made for Floyd being a bigger PPV star than Oscar.

hahahahahahaha these kids kill me. if floyd needs anyone else to sell a fight, then quote the numbers where in head to head competition with the same opponent show me where floyd was soundly defeated? you csnt because they dont exist. and the whole purpose of peds is to get better how does floyd benefit from peds??? he is not stronger he is not faster he is not more muscular. there is nothing you can point to and say, "here is why i think floyd is on peds" which you could with pac. he got stronger and kept his speed as he went up in wt classes. which is a huge flag. since so many went up in wt only to lose speed or strength. see oscar, shane(after he got off the clear and the cream) roy jones, james tony( he did pop + for peds while he was with roach) and others. pac was never going to fight floyd because floyd was not signed to top rank and pac only fights top rank fighters. its true.

actually they were in the same wt class. how does pac fight eric and not raheem but eric fights raheem? if you go back and look at pacs place in diff wt classes you will see a lot of really good fights he could have had. but its like some of you say, bob arum does not like putting his fighters in a risky fight. that was a direct quote from a pac hack.
