I keep seeing people saying pwn on here. What the hell does it mean?

It's from a computer game, apparently - "power own". It's dropped lately, though, hasn't it? It used to be an epidemic three months back.

It goes without saying that anyone who uses the word and isn't being ironic is a c***.
