Rampage says UFC media release fake PPV buys to press - important for boxing

He says the UFC tell him the PPV buys and pay him according to those, but then they release a number in the "papers" which is higher than what they told him. This is an important moment. Boxing has been taking **** for years off MMA fans now we have some pretty solid proof (not that there wasn't any to begin with) of the UFC releasing exaggerated numbers to the press.

How bloody long have we being getting **** from these people? How many articles have we to read about how the UFC is killing boxing only for it all turn out to be a blatant lie? Boxing must be raping these guys ... oh wait that's what the UFC guys do. There is no PPV war. The UFC has been lying in order to get attention for themselves.

... What? Since when was this a war? The bigger boxing fights do better... This isnt even news. A global sport with an extremely rich history compared to a relatively new league (because ufc is not the sport.. Its the league basically). Ok... Didn't know they were competing.... There's some cross over fans from both sports, sure... But football isnt out there competing with basketball.

They all lie, but I love the way Rampage has been sticking it to Dana White and friends. Hope he makes the move to boxing. We're in desperate need of someone with personally. This cheesy Broner bull**** ain't funny.

Some rough summaries of what the president of the UFC has said about boxing...

"Boxing is your father's sport, UFC is taking over."
"There are no young boxers, they're all coming into MMA now."
"Manny vs Mayweather will be the last big fight in boxing"
"There will be no new stars in boxing"
"Nike are sacking Pacman and replacing him with Jon Jones"
"Nobody gives a **** about Marquez vs Pacman. Nobody knows who Marquez is"
"Purchased LA boxing gyms then rubbed it in our faces"
"Boxers always have the same old story - uneducated street thugs"
          "We've passed boxing, boxing's history."

They schedule their fights on the same days as boxing matches in order to sap viewers. Also, have you noticed FOX have been referring to the UFC as "the combat sport of the future"? What do you think that's about?

I can't say that MMA and its fans haven't disrespected and copied Boxing for years. But most Boxing fans are very low class as well.

I don't see him being anymore than another Kimbo. He could use his name to sell a few fights but he ain't going anywhere fast. His stand up is pretty bad by boxing standards. Hell these days it's pretty bad by MMA standards, so that's saying something.
