Former champion Joseph Agbeko (28-4, 22KOs) read a recent report on BoxingScene.com where promoter Vladimir Hyrunov revealed that he is very interested in securing Agbeko for super bantamweight Alexander Bakhtin (30-0, 11KOs).
Bahktin is going to defend his IBO championship on March 31 in Balashikha, Russia. Agbeko recently became a promotional free agent and plans to come back on February 22nd against Luis Melendez for the vacant IBO title, at bantamweight, at the Accra Sports Stadium in Accra, Ghana.
