if Garcia is serious about fighting khan after Judah then yes he should pick khan instead of mathyssee,more money,but if he doesn't face khan or mathysee then it does look like he's ducking them,if he faces neither then I have a feeling he'll vacate the title instead of facing mathysee,lets face it he hasn't really beaten anyone,he's fougth old fighters like morales and now Judah and was losing to khan,look at his expression after the rounds are over when he's fighting khan,he looks down like he knows he's not going to beat him until he landed his punch on the neck/ear,then temple/head/...as a fan I would like to see him face either khan or mathyssee next,he's having easy fights(morales and Judah),now it's time to face a young,strong guy

Its obvious GBP is pushing for Garcia-Khan II (because theres more money to be made)

Can you blame Danny for taking a rematch with Amir when his purse will be probably 4x higher than it would be if he was facing Matthysse?

By the way... most of the people accusing Danny of ducking are the same people who say Danny beat and old man in Morales, and that Danny landed a lucky punch against Khan...

Im confident we will see Garcia-Matthysse.... Hopefully before Khan.... but more than likely we will have to wait til after.... apparently Amir Khan will always be viable no matter how many times he gets beaten.

Im with everyone else, I want to see Garcia vs Matthysse... but im not gonna **** on Danny for getting paid.... after all it is prize fighting.

Well, the 1st thing a sensible man would do is look at the gap in age.

I can agree with that..I've been a big defender of Garcia,when people have said he's is ducking etc etc..But I won't lie,if Garcia does not make an effort to fight Matt's after the Judah fight(should he win)I will have a different view of ol Danny boy...

Haven't a 100% decided on that yet. If his purse is 3 or even 4 times higher against Khan I can understand why he would take that fight. I think if Khan loses to Garcia again, then he'll fight Lucas. But I'm confidedent the fight will happen either late this year or early next year.

Mandatories have priority over rematches so if Garcia wants to keep that belt and the WBC stays true to their word then Garcia has to fight Matthysse next. Or he can vacate aka duck.

Garcia-Matthysse at the Barclays Center in NYC. Make it in June, night before the PR parade. And **** Khan!!! Always b*tching about something. Put him in the ring with someone live and he probably doesn't even make it to late 2013 for a rematch with Danny.

how can you call the Judah fight an easy fight? Didnt Judah beat Matthysse?
Yes he did. Even if you thought Lucas won, the fight was damn close. If Lucas had that much trouble in an easy fight (Judah), why is he so good?
Is it because he beat Humberto Soto? Ajose? His supposed win over "No Heart" Alexander? Lets be real here, everyones crowning Matthysse the next best thing since sliced bread with no real merit. Hes good but if Danny is unproven, so is he.

BTW anyone with two eyes, who can judge a fight for themselves can see Danny was winning the 3rd round leading up to the knock down... So what if Danny lost the first 2 rounds... thats 2 rounds out of a possible 12.... not unusual for a fighter who is attempting to counter with slower hands to take time to study and get down the timing of his opponent... Garcias victory was a product of timing, not luck.

Matthysse's starting to get on my nerves now. I know hes a damn good boxer. I get that. I know hes hungry. I get that too. But hes got a fight coming up with Dallas Jr. I know hes a heavy favorite and should win but Dallas can fight a little bit. And its not like Matthysse cant be hit. Khan ran his mouth about Mayweather and everybody critized him saying he wasnt focused on the task at hand... Blah, blah, blah. The same thing should apply here. I want to hear Matthysse talk about the fight thats coming up soon.

This is the first time Matthysse has opened his mouth about Garcia,hes mandatory so hes got a right to talk about it and get people behind him for the fight to be made...
Khan just talks regardless even when hes lost fights and is way down the pecking order he still talks like hes on top,thats why people hate on him he needs to humble himself.

Mike Dallas jr is a good opponent I doubt Lucas is overlooking him

I can't believe people here still think Zab can live up up to his promise. LOL. He's had more than a decade to do it and never lived up to the hype. But some fools here think he's going to beat Garcia. It ain't going to happen.

Anyone who knows anything about boxing knows whats going on. Garcia is hot right now, and Garcia's team and Haymon want to milk for as long as he can.

Morales was a gimme for Garcia, and so is Judah.

I don't mind the fight Garcia has against Khan, but Mattyhsse should get his shot within the year. It's the right thing to do.
