    If you wanna focus on the logistics of the name, that fine, but its saved for the best of the sport, just like in every other sport. Maidana, Tyson Marquez and Juanma gave us memorable fights as well, they deserve to get in

      As I illustrated clearly, IMO, Gatti has a lot of accomplishments that are overshadowed by his losses...but the accomplishments were still reached...

        Go look up the definition of "hall of fame" and it says "A group of persons judged outstanding, as in a sport or profession.". If you don't think the the heart and determination of Gatti was "outstanding" then you don't know what is.

          yup...its more than just obvious skills and speed and power...heart and determination count, especially when they make you successful...he had more heart and determination and resilience and recuperative powers in him than some of the more skilled guys had SKILL in them...
