Warren is an idiot. Hes just making himself look bad now. if zoo is willing to go there y not? for u people who say its not Hatton its Warren. i think its both. I think Hatton is content just fighting bums and getting paid for it instead of taking on real fighters.

No doubt Frank Warren is a joke of a promotor (in terms of boxing ambition). It must be tempting for Hatton to carry on defending against a string of no hopers in the MEN when he's paid so handsomely, but I think he now genuinely wants the big fights and believes he can win them.

Kostya Tszyu released a message today regarding his proposed June 5 showdown with Ricky Hatton. Tszyu confirmed the fight is now set and says he is looking forward to travelling to England to defend his world title against the unbeaten Manchester ‘Hitman’. But he also sent a clear warning to Hattons promoter Frank Warren...
"I am very pleased to be able to tell you today that I have decided to face Ricky Hatton in my next fight, which will be held in Manchester, England at 4am in the early hours of Sunday morning 5th June 2005. The fight will be shown live around the world in many countries including the USA on Showtime and in Australia and Russia.

"I am looking forward to this match and I am very excited. If you look at my website now you will see the results of the poll where I asked you, who I should fight next. Your first choice was undisputed welterweight champion Cory Spinks, but we know that it is very hard to make this fight happen at this stage. Your second choice was Ricky Hatton.

Frank Warren and Hatton

I just think that Warren and Hatton represent everything that is wrong with boxing today. If this is the way they conduct business now, what happens if Hatton becomes a world champion. A fighter will have to sell his soul in order to get a shot at hattons title...

KT should just forget it about and move up to fight the Spinks v Judah match. Hatton needs KT much more than the other way around. Let him fight for the vacant belt and then Warren and Hatton can go suck each other off all they like because he will still be a nobody.

I've just read that the IBF has said that KT has fulfilled his obligations to fight the mandatory challenger and that if the fight does not go ahead he will not be stripped. Once again Warren and Hatton have tried to weasel out of a fight they clearly never wanted only this time it looks like it has blown up in their faces.
