A source has told Fight news.com that Cuban trainer Ismael Salas will be the new trainer of Venezuelan former two-division world champion Jorge Linares. This would be the fifth trainer in the career of Linares. Salas, who would replace Hall of Famer trainer Freddie Roach, has been on the corner of Guillermo Rigondeaux, Yuriorkis Gamboa and Erislandy Lara among others. Apparently Linares will train in Las Vegas for his return bout scheduled for March 16 in Panama City.
How many more times is he gonna switch trainers? Has he not learned from those people who are always switching trainers? No trainer can fix that fragile face either.
