Shame this fight didn't go further though, because Kalambay had given boxing lessons to MIKE MCCALLUM and HEROL GRAHAM - ****ing unreal. These two were light years better than the Hagler and Leonard who fought in '87.
To outbox two such difficult opponents is amazing, he beat Graham in London (and Italy), so no accusations can be made re the judging.

Graham was robbed big time in the return match. But Kalambay's reflexes had gone.

I cant see it. But ok. I've seen that ko dozens of times. Nunn was my favourite fighter at the time. This was his peak performance. Suddenly it looked as if he had a punch to go with his great speed and skills.

Kalambay always had problems with southpaws.

Michael Nunn was sweet IMO, no wonder that Hearns and Leonard stayed the **** away from that whole gang (Nunn, McCallum on top of the others) and milked their old glory instead.
