What possible opponents could we see?
I'm going to ignore the Canelo option as it seems unlikely, as Trout is a Junior Middleweight.
Maybe he could fight K9 for a major belt? The regular WBA belt now isn't really worth anything. I think K9 has a fight scheduled soon so maybe not.
Kirkland has been away for almost a year now. Anyone know where he is?
Are Vanes/Lara going to rematch?
Dare I mention Angulo? Theres been speculation on here that hes possibly Canelo's next foe. If not, I guess its a stay-busy fight.
Theres also the WBO champ Baysangurov, but I won't pretend to know anything about this guy, other than K9 KO'd him.
The WBA rankings have a vacant no.1 challenger as far as im aware. So hes not up for a mandatory.
