He really is massively skilled. People can talk Whitaker, Marquez or Mayweather in terms of skils but they are backfoot counter-punchers, Golovkin does all his work on the front-foot and unlike them he has genuine power.

Fights at MW with the power of a Cruiser, spars with light heavies and has beaten super middle weights before (ko'd Bute and beat Dirrell in the ams). His light heavy weight sparring partners said he is the hardest puncher they have ever faced.

Carl Froch would most likely be too much for him. We still don't know exactly how good he is. He needs to fight an elite level fighter first.
