Golovkin: Still a Hell of a lot of Questions

Golovkin did what he was supposed to against a JMW who had already been stopped in his native weight class. Yet the stoppage seemed a little soft since Rosado was on the move, avoiding Golovkins punches, which by this time were starting to look tired.

Rosado did have a certain level of success with his jabs and straight rights showing that Golovkin has no or at the very least, limited head movement. I just imagine him hanging with Martinez, I think JCC JR would give him one heck of a fight, that's a 50/50 fight for me. There's talk that Pirog may be GGGs next opponent. I think that's another toss up. But noway in hell is golovkin ready to take Martinez, all talk of this fight needs to be muted till GGG beats a couple of legit, top 10 ranked 160 pounders.

If Golovkin's people are serious about their man being the top MW, he should ifght Pirog/Jr/Macklin next.

Absolutely, I didn't see GGG as the fighter the media ,thought he was. ($ hit, not even boxing forums hyped him up this big).

I mean, he's still a top class MW, but he's not unstoppable. I can see a couple guys in that division giving him hell, and Ward would box his head off.

Exactly! Still a very good fighter but not on Martinez's level. A few guys in the division can come close to beating him. I'd love to see the Pirog fight, or a war with Macklin.

The MW division makes me wanna puke. All the top fighters avoid each other so its hard to really gauge whos great. Martinez, Kid Chocolate, GGG hell all of them are fighting bums.

Martinez just fought Chavez and is about to fight Murray, that's two top 10 MWs in a row so who the fk do you want him to fight? Quillin just grabbed the belt from Njikam and is supposed to fight his mandatory after Guerrero so again, who do you want him to fight? GGG just fought Proksa who was top 10 and just about everyone else is tied up in fights so who then? He was suppose fight Geale or something and Idk what happened.

Golovkin will dominate middleweight for a long time. I really enjoy his subtle movements and well balanced style.

I'd pick him over Martinez despite the fact i would root heavily for Martinez. Not that i see that fight happening.
He'll beat the brakes off Quillin and Pirog.
            Chavez jr. Not even close.
