I'm comparing them on their amateur credentials.. Not professionally like u are especially when Zou hasn't even made his pro debut..& It's funny that u may think he did not deserved to win the Gold in the Olympics, well there was a bunch of fighters that did not deserve the victory's they were given in the Olympics & that include the medals they got.& Zou must have done something right to get 3 amateur world titles(it wasn't like they were all fought in China).. & u say Rigondeaux is a real champion, well he is a title holder, but for all the hype they make about his amateur background(which is basically no different than Zou's)Rigodeaux is a title holder that hasn't really impressed anybody & has been involved in lot of boring fights...I'm pretty sure that if the Donaire fight gets done, Rigodeaux is gonna get murdered!

Zou won't last a round against any decent pro boxer , he doesn't hit , he pushes the oponent with his hands , his footwork is **** and yes : his two golds were suspect . You can't compare him with Rigo , who spent almost a decade without losing while fighting the best . Zou won't amount to anything in the Pros , wait and see . All he has is fame ( in china ) and I suspect that's the reason Arum signed him . Lol , I may get backto you on the Donaire/Rigondeaux afterfight after Nonito gets exposed , that is if he has the balls to fight Rigondeaux ( he's already backtraking on the April date ) . Lmao . Agree with everything. He didn't impress in one fight in London, and definitely lost the final, disgraceful. IIRC I didn't have him beating the Cuban in the 1st round.

yah i remember watching some video on him..he wasn't that good.

The guy is total crap , can't wait to see him exposed in the pros . I doubt he will travel to America to fight , they probably will keep him in china , another Chris John ( though John can actually box ) acoustomed to home desitions . Lol . Peace .

No way he beat the the Irish lad Barnes in the last Olympics ,Zou was beaten around the ropes even his corner thought he lost for christs sake ,totally disgraceful decision ,and the final was another joke .He was signed because he was Chinese and the following he has in China alone got him the deal .

I know that this is a boxing forum, but Top Rank's decision to sign this Chinese boxer is not strictly about boxing. This is a business decision, and a good one at that.

Top Rank will likely hold Zou's fights in Macau against suspect competition and gradually build up his popularity with the Asian audience. Judges there might be easier to influence as well.

The important point to note here is that gaming revenue in Macau exceeds that of Las Vegas by almost 5 times ($28 billion to $6 billion in 2011). The growth of Macau's gaming revenue is also increasing at a greater rate than that of Las Vegas.

This is a prudent financial investment, and if Zou turns out to be a decent pro boxer, then even better for Top Rank.
