    when its from a foul.

if a foul damages a fighter to the degree where he has a significant disadvantage the most fair thing to do is go to a TD (if its ruled accidental).

i know you are a real softie so i wouldnt expect you to be able to relate but a broken nose is a serious injury. it affects your breathing, makes you swallow lots of blood which slows you down and it just hurts like a *****. especially when you get punched in the same spot which you will be.

if the nose is broken by a legal blow you have to suck it up, it is indeed part of boxing to to deal with ish like that. but for a fighter to have to deal with it when it came from a foul and be forced to keep fighting with the odds stacked against him because of it isnt fair.

and lol at the "this is boxing part" as if you had a fcking clue what boxing is like. you said it yourself, you seen these things. you dont know what its like though.

    • Garcia said it best after the fight. He should have gone on. He didn't have to and took what was a sure win, but that doesn't mean it should be applauded. It was really a quit, or cowardice. It was just a tactical take that's sort of laughable considering how many broken noses we see in the sport on nearly a weekly basis.

I mean, has anyone ever seen a fight go to the cards on that before? I can't recall it. Don't want to see it again either.

tell Rocky Marciano that!(Nose hanging off his face) Tell Arthur Abraham that! (Broken Jaw) They fought on. I fought with a broke nose...You improvise...open your mouth if you cant breath....You got no room to call anyone soft. You dont tuck your tail in a fight...you fight until the end. Like Rasado was willing to do! Thats will!
And you think its okay to fight with a broke nose if its due to a punch...but its not okay if its an accidental headbutt....you make no sense what so ever. Hey if coward is in your blood....more power to you! :WORD:

You're listing circumstances where the fighter that fought on victory was not sealed, of course it makes sense to take the risk of fighting with an injury as the alternative is losing the fight. Also lol at you suggesting that a fighter should fight with his mouth open. In any sport you're always told to breath through your nose ( It is more effective) in addition to that fighting with your mouth open can lead to a broken jaw.

Also lol at you ''fighting with a broken nose'', your local bully refusing to show mercy once he popped you in the nose doesn't classify as persevering through injury.

Regarding the last part of your post you're missing the point entirely. If a broken nose is caused by a punch then it is in the fighters best interest to continue otherwise the fight would be ruled a TKO. If he wants to stop fighting that's fine but he would have an L on his resume. It is actually okay if a fighter wants to continue fighting if the broken nose is caused by a headbutt. Ultimately the decision rests with the fighter/doctor.

              Yeah this is BOXING!

Intentional headbutts to break your opponents nose have no place in BOXING.

This aint the WWF so go **** off to some other WWF website if you want to see headbutts.

Victory wasn't sealed though, as Salido still had a chance and was coming on strong.

Pac broke JMM's nose in the first round of their first fight. He fought the next 11 rounds with a broken nose.
