My thought-process is, if you just had a performance that didn't go as expected, why let your potential opposition know that you were sick? It's saying, "I'm not even 100% and look at what I did to my opponent!". It's just fuckin ******. Let the other top fighters underestimate you.

Tonight he wins but gets his face marked up by a guy moving up in weight and some excuse comes out of left field about him being sick and he sounded like crap trying to lie about it. It means someone coached him up in the "fighters meeting" in case he didn't blow Rosado out of the water. I'd bet it was Kellerman who coached him since he asked the questions.
I agree. The sick excuse was bull****. They told him they need to keep this hype going, and to make some lame excuse if he doesn't smash Rosado out in 2 rounds. That part was bad.

That said, I think GGG actually did a great job tonight. The hype had to simmer down slightly, but Rosado never was going to get sparked out in 3 rounds or look as outclassed as Proksa was. He's better than that, he just wasn't going to win.

If GGG didn't find himself at the receiving end of sudden and over-the-top hype after the Proksa fight, this fight would be seen for what it was: a very dominant win over a legitimate opponent. I think this is a good indicator for GGG and much more so than his demolition of Proksa.

That said, yeah, Sergio should outbox him. I think I'd pick him over most anyone else in his weight class though. I'm kind of becoming a believer despite the ridiculous hype slowing down a bit.

What is more likely, Max Keller gave Golovkin cards with excuses for him to memorize in case he didn't have a very good performance (it was a good performance imo) or that Golovkin who is learning his 4th language and didn't speak any english a little over a year ago struggled to understand his questions which was very evident through the entire interview?

Are you still recovering from the shock that the world didn't end a month ago and that the Mayan's were wrong? Save your ******ed conspiracies for the lounge.

Not impressed by Golovkin at all, I expect him to be 'fully exposed' soon enough.

Rosado was backpeddling the whole fight only stopped to throw every once in a while and took a serious beating enough for his corner to stop it but Golovkin has trouble with movement , that was movement to avoid further punishment not to actually to accomlpish anything offensively.

There came a point where Rosado felt the futility of the situation he was in. I can imagine that bleeding from your eye/nose/mouth would have that affect.

really, i thought the rosada bandwagon thread was made as a joke. one seemed like he was serious, mr. illyphillydilly or something. i can't knock on a guy rooting for his hometown fighter though.

I think it's the overhyping of GGG that makes him look like this, This wasn't a bad performance but GGG against a brawler would make him look great, GGG against a mover who clinches him and then let's him go would make GGG look like KKK.
