If Pac gets Erik with that left early it'll be a bad night for Erik. Conversely, if Morales comes into the fight at a good weight (not 15 pounds overweight) then he will put on a masterful performance and keep Pac off balance landing crisp, hard shots from range.
Actually I Like each other's chances of winning this fight. I'm pretty sure this will be an exciting match, probably a fight of the year contender. I know Morales is a well-rounded fighter and Pac carries that big left straight, quick and has good stamina. I hope both come prepared and give us the fight we all want to see.

Well Janno, who knows what kind of Morales we'll get. I was shocked with the Morales that showed up in the 3rd Barerra fight. I think he won't let his loss take him down however. We don't give Morales enough credit for his ability to brawl. He CAN take it to you. He almost had Barerra hurt in the 11th when they were brawling and almost had him down twice in the 12th when the fight was an all out brawl as well.

Well I guess you're right, I think Barrera can brawl alright. But I'm inclined to give Pac more chances of surviving a brawl and hurting his opponent because I've seen what happened to his opponents when they decide to take it to him (not that I'm a big fan of his). In MAB-EM 3, I think that part of the reason why MAB almost went down in the last rounds is due to exhaustion. He was clearly the more active between the two especially in the early rounds.

That whole "Barerra beat Morales and Manny beat Barerra so Manny will beat Morales" thing is dumb. Now for toney/klit baby.
This is exactly what we all thought of prior to MAB-EM 3. But, we were wrong, Barrera was quicker and Morales didn't stick to boxing - he slugged it out (against the advise of his corner)...just as he always does. Morales hates boxing, he wants to fight. That's just the perfect style for the PacMan, they're made for each other. It's not gonna be a tactical fight, Pacquiao is not a technician - he's a fighter. One of this fighters will go down.

          We will see.

Everybody thought he was the bigger puncher than Chavez, Hernandez and Barrera...but, he didn't stop them actually.

Let's turn the tables here, let's see how El Terrible's chin will hold up against Pac's lightning-quick left straight.

I agree that Barerra was very tired...but so was Erik. And furthermore...I think it shows what kind of fight we'll see from Erik if this fight with Pac does go the distance. Erik took an early beating from Barerra but was still strong enough to almost put him down and hurt him in the 12th. Both guys will certainly have to be in top form...I'm sure they will be.

I was disappointed in the Morales that showed on the third fight. Almost as if he'd rather be somewhere else that night, not a scared look... he looked almost bored.

I agree about people thinking that Morales would be the better guy against Barerra in the last fight. MAny thought he'd just overpower and outclass him.

I think you are a bit off however when you say Erik hates to box. Morales hates to box....AGAINST BARERRA. I think he just hates MAB so much he feels inclined to make the fight into a raw slugfest. He is one of the better pure boxers in boxing when he actually decides to do it. He reminds me of Thomas Hearns in a way. When he boxes he can be masterful but he really loves to mix in the brawling whenever possible.

Agreed. He looked lethargic and unmotivated. I hope he'll be into the Pac fight so people will get some piece of mind on who the best of this 126-130 lot is.

Check out his fights against Junior Jones, Paulie Ayala, and In-Jin Chi. He dominated Ayala...KO'd Jones (who has beaten Barerra badly twice), and had his hands full in an exciting fight with In-Jin Chi.
