Comments Thread For: Salido vs. Garcia HBO Triple Early Fight Results

In the first fight of the evening on the undercard at Madison Square Garden, Ronald Ellis brought his record up to 7-0 with five knockouts with a workman-like unanimous decision against Steven Tyner, who dropped to 3-10-2 in a four-round bout at super middleweight. Both guys tossed bombs back and forth for most of the fight- either that or the microphone was particularly sensitive to every piece of noise in the ring. Ellis was the slicker and smoother fighter, even if Tyner did his best to keep up with Ellis and punch with him when the two got in close. [Click Here To Read More]

He stopped some 16-3 guy about 15mins ago. Great speed, coordination, decent power and good finishing ability.

Ferrante got the KO? lol I had to leave the house, but it appeared Akberbayev was up going into the ninth. Isa gassed-out bad. He started to go into some weird shadowboxing thing and ran around. Ferrante was laying some heavy shots at times. It's no surprise he scored to stoppage.

Now on to Verdejo. Let's see what this kid's looking like this time out. Felix is very young. He was a Puerto Rican Olympian. This is only his second pro fight.

Man, Verdejo laid that other kid out. Nice dig to the body, followed by a hook to the head. Good work by Felix but his opponent looked like they dragged him in off the street. I think the dude was actually wearing sneakers! lmao
