    Pavlik retired

Don't know if it's been posted anywhere but

Former middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik, saying that he is concerned about the long-term medical impact of continuing to fight and no longer motivated, told ESPN.com on Saturday that he is retiring from boxing.

been saying for the longest that he was done and that the old Kelly was never coming back.

he may yet return, but it would be a mistake to do so.

Good decision. Hopefully he's well off financially and can stay away

I guess it's about time. He could still probably line up a couple fights to buffer his retirement funds but I don't think retirement was that far off anyways.

            And lmao at this:

"I had a pretty good career," Pavlik said. "I was 40-2 and I only lost to two of the best guys, Martinez and Hopkins. I'm content. It's not like I got knocked out. It's not like I got knocked out the way Manny Pacquiao got knocked out (in December by Juan Manuel Marquez).

Good decision......but i was quite looking forward too see if he still had it. Good for him that he knows that he hasn't.

And this is the guy that was gonna fight Ward? If he's not there mentally, then he's right to retire.

i was of the opinion that Ward would've been the first to stop him.

I bet you that KO of Pacquiao and the news of the possible parkinsons scared him.
