Tarver just needs a payday and who could give him a bigger one tha Tyson. The fight means nothing, but the magic Tyson seems to bring out, even to non boxing fans, will put asses in seats and $$$ in Tarver's checkbook. The options arn't many and Tyson seems like a safe oponet and Tarver can get under anyone's skin. That should light up some sparks and make this fight a reality. Mike looks at him as just a small LHW and no threat. Tarver looks at Tyson as an old man who he wants on his resemay. Go for it.

If this fight does take place someday and by some miracle Tarver wins, does anyone really believe that Tarver will be looked at as a top heavywieght???? He's talking mad ****. He believes a win over Tyson will make him #1 p4p. I think he would have to beat more than just Mike to achieve anything. Basically, I think he's a ***** ass mother f!@#$# and I hope the fight happens so Mike can destroy the Gingerbread man------------

I think this is a lose/lose situation for Tarver, other than getting a huge paycheck. If he wins, so what, he beat a badly faded Tyson. If he loses, and as washed up as Tyson is, and NO I'm not a big fan, he will be ridiculed into "bolivian". Many say Tyson has no shot, and although Tyson is completely washed up, he'll be fighting a man naturally smaller than him for once, and the question is:can Tarver take a HW punch?

Tarver will get KO'ed early. Even if Tyson hits him on the arms it's gonna hurt him like he's never felt before. He's not strong enough to hurt Tyson & doesn't have the body to tie him up & lean on him to take his energy. I see an ugly outcome for him if he actually decides to take the fight.
