I alway thought he was older than he claimed but I don't know much about Cuba and documentations, if he is older then it's a testament how good he is to still be fighting at his real age, I thought he was in his last 30s/early 40s when I first saw him to be honest, I went to school with a lot of African immigrant and they use to tell me how their sport athletes are at least 7 years older than their "Official" age, so this is not out of the question.
The reason Rigondeaux's looks like an old geezer is because his body is starting to shut down from years of rampant steroid use. You'll never see him react to a low blow,either.....for obvious reasons.
i'd be more worried about the ~ 400 amateur fights catching up to him before his age on his birth certificate does.
rigo has almost certainly peaked. gamboa, too. these are tiny guys in their 30s'. if he's good enough he will go far. if he's not, he's gone as far as he can.
