Good fight. I think Barrera was a little past his best by the time this one came around. He would have fought better if it was between 1999-2001.

Statistically Barrera threw and landed more punches and he scored the only knockdown. Marquez came out looking worse after the fight aswel so I think Barrera was probably hard done by in that fight but retirement was mind already at that point. Lederman scored it to Barrera and I would have liked a return but Marquez was on the rise and Barrera on the decline.
