Did Floyd "retire" in 2007 because he was shook by the 147 division heating up?

Canelo won his title at a catchweight and will lose it at a catchweight.

This is a good question Freedom, it appears the poll is considerably one sided though.

Bump. Look at the poll. Even my casual boxing friends think Floyd is ducking Pacquiao, and mind you this idiot thinks Floyd fought Juan before Manny

Yes, everyone can clearly see it. Some people mainly his fans will try to argue otherwise.

Looks like the Boxingscene members have spoken and majority believe so.

i think in floyd's mind he was already an atg guy when he retired...

the way he acted when he came back from retirement was like cesar coming back to rome after his victorious campaigns....

i do no see the need to elaborate the above as what floyd did and still continues to do nowadays like his *****ing on opponents are well known and published...

If only floyd didn't retire and beat all the best 147 lbs available in that time he could at least have a slight chance to get the FIGHTER OF THE DECADE award.

Floyd could shot their wife in front of them and they would still praise floyd from doing it. That's how loyal flom0s to floyd.

Like Floyd said - numbers don't lie.

Good timing with this thread to come back ...

Manny said he may take a fight at 140 if it's a good fight.

Funny that Floyd fans are posting "How can Manny go down to 140 when 147 is hot ..... he is reluctant to fight at 147" ...... but most fans know the truth. Manny would take any fight and is waiting on Floyd to become "interested".

Floyd was shook in 2007 and then again in 2009/2010 and took another long vacation instead of fighting Manny. It's too bad that some Floyd fans didn't see this!
