Heavyweight prospect Brian "The Beast" Minto (23-1, 14 KO) finished off 2005 in busy fashion winning consecutive bouts on Oct.1, Nov. 23 and Dec. 30. He claims that 2006 will be no different. Minto plans on fighting on the undercard of the Jan. 27 Guilty-Silverhawk-Star Boxing PPV featuring Valery Brudov vs. Virgil Hill for the vacant WBA Crusierweight title. Minto also brought up talks of a possible Feb. 24 main event on ESPN's Friday Night Fights. As far as a return to HBO goes, Minto had this to say. "HBO has shown interest in having me back and I would love to go. I know Joe Mesi is looking for a fight and I want to give him one. It doesn't matter to me where the fight happens, I'll even go to Buffalo."
