Olympic bronze medalist Anthony Ogogo has set his sights on becoming a "global superstar" and also earning a knighthood as he prepares to launch his professional career after signing up with Golden Boy Promotions.

Agogo, 24, has his first professional bout pencilled in for April or May and has already mapped out his long-term goals once his career is under way, eyeing accolades in and out of the ring on his way to becoming a tour de force in the middleweight division.

Think this is really exciting stuff from GBP this. Ogogo was IMO the most talented fighter in the UK team, and having seen him fight from the age of 17 I believe he's going to be a big star. He has all the tools. And I love that GBP are moving into the UK challenging the sometimes sickening cards we get from the maloneys, the warrens, the hearns.

Ogogo isn't really that talented but has the charisma to be a house hold name. He's even on an advert over here at the moment so marketing won't be hard... until they see him fight.

Good signing by GBP, this guy has been boxing over 8 years as an amateur so it's the right time to turn pro.

From what I've seen in the Olympics, this guy is not cut out for the pros, barely looked durable enough for the amateurs. Can move though, like a less talented Khan.

Oh no here we go again - I like and think it is always important for sportsmen in this case boxers to be confident and believe in themselves - if you want to succeed you need to be confident but there is a thin line about been confident and ****y and this kid has crsossed the line he has now joined the list of - Amir Khan, David Haye,James Degale,Audley Harrison and Carl Froch there is way of been confident with Class Chris Eubank was little bit ****y but he did it with class and it worked and he was very likeable this Kid is starting early, another Amir Khan please enough is enough. I hope my list did'nt offend anyone but this is my personal take.
