Manny is not that humble at all..Manny has a very big ego(as do all great fighters)and having a big ego is the opposite of being humble...
The humble Manny Pacquiao????

Respectful how? He also claimed he was caught by a lucky punch, he also claimed he didn't wear his lucky gloves or socks against Morales, there is nothing respectful about that, what you see is a PR image nothing more nothing less.Comment

Pacquiao is pretty humble take away his personal and private life he is very humble especially when he got knocked out by Marquez, nobody seemed to give him props for that, the haters just continued to search for something to hate on him after that and said oh he said it was a lucky punch! *** Pacman.
Pac and Floyd have a lot of similarities only thing different is their personalities and few other things.
Somethings they don't have in common:
Floyd talks a lot, Pacman doesn't, Pacman loves to drink and smoke weed, Floyd doesn't do drugs. Floyd whines a lot in self pity, Pacman doesn't cry about nobody loving him. Floyd is a criminal, Pacman has never went to jail.
But they have a lot in common.
Both love entourage and yes men meaning they are pretty insecure and need constant praise.
Both have strained relationship with their fathers, except Pacman doesn't disrespect his dad just ignores him.
Both have issues with Women, Floyd has a love hate and violent relationship, Pacman loves to sleep around he has a video where he bragged about sleeping with some half german half korean girl with green eyes and had more than 5 European women in one night before he changed.
They both loved to gamble, Pacman no longer gambles.
They like fancy things like nice cars, yachts, mansions.
They both have a guy who tells them what to do Al Haymon for Floyd and Bob Arum for Pacman.
Both don't pay their taxes or are late on paying them, or at least that is what was said.
Both will probably wind up broke within 10 years.Last edited by hectari; 01-15-2013, 04:25 PM.Comment

I don't think he is humble too, quite the opposite I actually think, the problem is I don't see that as a big deal because like you said all great fight do. But some people are hellbent on telling us how humble Pacquiao is when in fact he isn't.Comment

Doesn't sound too humble
Andre Ward is also a family man and very religious or so it is portrayed but when people speak about Andre Ward the word HUMBLE is rarely mentioned.I think a lot has to do with how religious they are over there. They play up all the "rags to riches" and "humble christian" aspects of him so much because that is exactly what sells him to the biggest segment of the Pacquiao demographic. Humble, Christian, family man...whats not to like?
This is just one example.Comment

He did not claim he was caught by a lucky punch. He said something like Marquez was lucky, just talking a little crap in front of fans weeks later. If you can't see how Pac is humble compared to most fighters, I don't know what to tell you.Comment

Great example Khan, Ward is more humble with or without the camera... You can see it in his character and the way he carries himself.Comment

He claimed it was a lucky punch, the interview was posted on here when Pacquiao landed in the phillipines... Go and check it out, so much for humble.Comment
